Tai Chi is a set of movements developed in China over 3000 years ago and is closely aligned with Chinese Traditional Medicine. Tai Chi teaches the art of deep diaphramatic breathing to increase the body's oxygen uptake. The techniques help with total relaxation to relieve muscular tension and stress, also to improve balance while moving the pupil through a range of gentle stretching exercises.
Tai Chi helps to improve muscle tone while gently strengthening the body's core muscles through a range of moves to assist in the improvement of brain and muscular co-ordination. Tai Chi is an ideal form of low impact exercise which concentrates on improving the total well being and health of the pupil through mind and body coordination.
This class is suitable for the mature audience and each class is tailor made depending on the individuals' needs on the day.
