Performance and Prevention Project Lead - Basketball NZ
The purpose of this role is to lead the development of Basketball New Zealand’s (BBNZ) Injury Prevention Programme in alignment with BBNZ’s Wellbeing Strategy.
The role is responsible for:
overseeing the development of programmes and services that protect and promote the wellbeing of players across the basketball community:
ensuring key contracted deliverables from investment partners are met in a timely manner, with a priority focus on developing a sustainable business model for reducing injuries and harm for participants:
contributing to the development of relevant national strategies, frameworks, programmes, and resources related to Wellbeing and People Development.
The role will work closely with BBNZ staff and the BBNZ Performance and Prevention Steering Group to ensure all services developed meet the wants and needs of the basketball community and adhere to national/international best practice.
