Hamilton City Council

Work within the Parks Assets team of Council to enable us to manage our sports and recreation assets. Capture and develop our understanding of need and demand, ensure regular condition assessment of existing assets are up to date, and then develop proposals and business cases for future investment that maximizes the benefit to our community.

Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with past experience in sports and/or recreation, or with strong proposal develop / asset management experience. Key for this role is someone who can understand current recreational facility asset condition as well as future needs, then turn this understanding into technically robust, compelling case for investment.
 
Key to success in this role is a collaborative mindset where strong relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders provides the information and support needed to develop the understanding of Hamilton City’s recreational facilities to deliver the core outcomes of the role.
