Programme Overview

Waikato Treasure Chests are a Womens Dragon Boat team, which is part of the WDBWA Assn. Our paddlers are either breast cancer survivors or supporters who train weekly in our competitive season 3 days per week and on a Sunday morning (8.45-10am) in our off season. All equipment is provided, you just need to wear some clothing that dries quickly and boat shoes. Some warm clothes after a train is a must in winter. Our dedicated Committee ensure all paddlers have opportunities to compete at local and national regattas throughout the year.
