Programme Overview

Waikato Treasure Chests are a Womens Dragon Boat team, which is part of the WDBWA Assn. Our target paddlers are predominantly Women! With one of our teams dedicated to Breast Cancer Survivors (any gender). We train weekly in our competitive season 3 days per week Tuesday and Thursday evening, and on a Sunday morning. All equipment is provided, you just need to wear some clothing that dries quickly and boat shoes. Some warm clothes after a train is a must in winter. Our dedicated Committee ensure all paddlers have opportunities to compete at local and national regattas throughout the year.
