"I love being active and have enjoyed a variety of sporting and outdoor pursuits from Grassroots to Elite levels. At 19 I was selected for the Black sticks, the start of my high-performance career which spanned over 15 years. I loved this environment and everything that it taught me.
After years of structured training my body still likes to do some sort of activity. Alongside BFT sessions I enjoy riding my horses, gardening, mowing lawns and getting outdoors with friends. Nothing like getting outside to give you a boost.”
Robbie provides strategic leadership to the Waikato region’s network of Territorial Local Authorities as well as local sport and active recreation organisations and providers. She works closely with key partners to guide physical activity strategy, provision and investment, including through the development and implementation of local play, active recreation and sport plans.
