Professional Learning Partner – Primary

The Role

We are seeking an experienced - ideally teacher-trained - leader who is not afraid to challenge the system, someone who can build strong relationships which can drive positive change. In this role your mahi will build teacher confidence, challenge the status quo, and provide teachers with the tools to use health and physical education as a driver for greater well-being in kids. As a Professional Learning Partner, you’re tasked with providing advice and customized support to enable positive change in the tamariki’s communities, this includes strategising with schools to develop systems that will contribute to an active and healthy school culture.
 
You will liaise with boards, principals and senior leadership teams to foster a culture of learning and development within the education community.

 

The Person:

Do you have a depth of knowledge in the health and physical education curriculum within a primary school setting? If so, then this is the role for you! We’re looking for an individual who can lead change in the school setting while influencing at different levels to get the best result for our tamariki. You will be an inquisitor, someone who can be critical in their approach to analyse the effectiveness of an educator and a school’s approach to physical activity including the health and physical education curriculum delivery.
 
The professional learning partner will have a high level of verbal and written communication skills and use them to relate to a range of stakeholders and audiences!
