Programme Overview

Age Concern Hauraki Coromandel supports older people who are experiencing loneliness or social isolation and provides services and information to help them maintain independence and connections to friends, family or community. We do this by providing: 1. Accredited Visiting Service 2. Chinwag Cafe weekly sessions 3. Staying Safe Driver Refresher courses 4. Total Mobility Assessments to access subsidized taxi services 5. Steady As You Go falls prevention classes to improve strength, balance and confidence to keep you mobile 6. Information resources, regular newsletters and other relevant information including referral to Elder Abuse and Prevention Services.
