I have lived in the Waikato for most of my life. I was born and bred in Matamata but I have lived in Hamilton for nearly 10 years. Over the years I have participated in a variety of sports at a secondary school, regional and club level.
I joined the Sport Waikato team in October 2018 as a Planning and Insight Advisor. My role was introduced to increase the capacity of the planning and insights function within Sport Waikato and help provide support and guidance for strategic decision making of stakeholders and partners through providing easily understood interpretation of research and data.
Previous to this role I had worked in the health sector for four years whilst also completing my masters in Community Psychology. I was drawn to Sport Waikato because of their strong community focus and their passion for healthier and more active people in the Waikato.
