"Sport and physical activity have played a major role in my life from an early age. Like many Kiwis, I grew up playing just about every sport I could, and I still enjoy being as active and involved as possible today. I’m a lifelong football fan and player, fortunate to have represented New Zealand at youth level, and I remain involved in the game as a coach here in the Waikato.
Sport has given me incredible opportunities — to travel, study, and connect with amazing people along the way. Now, as a parent, I truly appreciate the profound impact that movement and activity have on our lives and wellbeing. I feel very fortunate to be able to give back through my role at Sport Waikato, helping to support our communities and people in meaningful, positive ways."
