"Like most Kiwi kids, I was able to spend a lot of my childhood on various fields, courts, on/in water sampling a range of sports. I spent my teenage years heavily involved in rowing, sparking a passion of movement. More recently I have transitioned into distance running, having completed a handful of marathons and plenty of half marathon events.
When my body is moving, I feel the most still in my mind. It is one of few times in the day where I feel I can completely switch my brain off and enjoy the scenery (hence why I often find myself running along stretches of water, trails, etc)."
