Candra Pullon

Candra Pullon (Ngāti Pū, Ngāti Porou) is an experienced governance and engagement leader based in Kirikiriroa. She is currently Head of Engagement and Experience at the University of Waikato Library, where she leads a team focused on student-centred service design, community connection, and inclusive communication.
 
Candra has held governance roles across education, sport, and youth development, including as an appointed board member for Swimming New Zealand, a trustee of the Waikato Students’ Union Trust, and former Chair of Showing Waikato Ltd. Her leadership style is values-driven, collaborative, and strategic, with a strong focus on empowering others and making a positive impact across the Waikato region.
  
She is on a journey of cultural reconnection and brings a commitment to inclusion, learning, and serving her community with integrity and heart.
