Being born and bred in the mighty Waikato, I studied a Bachelor of Parks and Recreation Management, before travelling and working across the globe for over a decade. On return, I was employed by Sport Waikato in the Energize programme, working for 15 years alongside schools/communities in the Cambridge and Te Awamutu districts.

2021 sees me beginning a new role as Taakaro Ora (Active Wellbeing) Community Connector for the Te Pae Here Kaahui Ako (Hamilton North/East cluster) This new and exciting challenge, involves me creating and maintaining relationships between Te Pae Here schools and their communities – aiming to create positive physical activity/well-being opportunities and experiences for tamariki and rangatahi.
In my free time, I enjoy being active and playing all things sport! – with cricket, tennis, golf and snowboarding my favourites. When not participating in or watching sport, I can be found in my happy place (any Aotearoa beach!) otherwise reading or listening to music in the backyard. I have a love of travel and long-term interest in Japanese language and culture.
