He Oranga Poutama

He Oranga Poutama (HOP), "Stairway to wellbeing", promotes the development and implementation of physical recreation and sport in a way that is culturally appropriate to Maori.

KiwiSport

KiwiSport is a government funding initiative to promote sport for school-aged children. The Regional Partnership Fund (RPF) is coordinated by Regional Sports Trusts throughout New Zealand. The allocation is calculated on a per-capita basis based on the number of students in each region. Sport Waikato is committed to ensuring KiwiSport outcomes through the greater Waikato region.
