Be Active
Kids love to play!
Help make 'active play' a part of their day.
Huff n puff, have fun and be active every day:
- Adults need 30 minutes or more
- Children need at least one hour
Healthy active kids = healthy active adults
Regular physical activity helps to:
- Maintain a healthy body weight
- Reduce the risk of numerous medical conditions eg diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease
- Keep muscles and bones strong
- Improve self esteem and confidence
Healthy kids Push Play for 60 minutes or more each day - that's activity to make them huff and puff! Broken into chunks it soon adds up - and it's good for their development too. Check out the SPARC website for activity planners, ideas, and games to get them really pumping.
