Programme Overview
Welcome to Cambridge East Maungakawa Pony Club! We are a small family focused pony club, we currently have approximately 30+ riding members ranging in level from Lead Rein, D certificates through to C+ . We are located in Cambridge beside the Cambridge Raceway on Taylor St.
Our rallies are fortnightly on a Sunday morning between 10.30am-12.00pm please see up to date dates on our website. We occasionally have trips out to the beach, farm rides or LVF for a spot of XC training. We hold Horsemanships Rallies to keep the members up to date with their theory side of PC. Certificates can be sat at various times throughtout the season.
Our focus is on the riders having FUN & gaining skills to competently care for their ponies. Being a branch of Cambridge Pony Club, we encourage our members to be involved in the clubs team events, of which there are Dressage, Show Jumping, Show Hunter, Eventing & Games.
Our summer camps are always a highlight of pony club life, usually held over the summer holidays, previous camps have been held in Taupo, Rotorua & Kawerau PC.
