After spending over ten years in Australia, Fiona returned to New Zealand in late 2015 and now calls Huntly home. Fiona joined the Sport Waikato team in early 2016 and has taken up the role of District Coordinator for the Waikato area - which geographically encompasses the communities of Raglan, Ngaruawahia, Huntly, Te Kauwhata and the surrounding areas.

Fiona is incredibly experienced with over 30 years of working and competing within the sport and recreation industry - which includes sport club management, coaching, officiating and player participation to representative level. Fiona has a passion for all things sport and recreation related, as well as being a keen advocate for improved health and well-being for the communities within the Waikato district. She greatly values the many benefits of being active and healthy which include increased physical, emotional and mental health thus resulting in happy and healthy individuals and whanaus.
